I traveled hours north to buy this well loved and worn out treasure. My father had bought me the same one in the early 70's and sometime during my childhood,it vanished. I searched for a replacement for many years as an adult, phoning antique stores across the country and finally came across one about 10 years ago. She became a victim of a flood a few years ago adding to her depreciation value. I hope one day to have her restored.

Shirley Temple
1930's child star, Shirley Temple, died last week at the age of 85. She topped the American box-office from 1935 to 1938 and became a household name at a very young age. Her face was used to sell a wide range of products from soft drinks to cars.
I have a few pieces of Shirley Temple memorabilia in my collection. My favourite is a doll.
